Al-Hoda Islamic Society
About us:
Officially established in 1997, Al-Hoda Islamic Society is an Islamic religious institution that follows the Jafari school of thought. It aims to revive the sacred rituals of the Ahlulbayt, serve the Canadian Muslim community, and provide a robust and educational centre for all community members.
Prior to its launch, all of the important events such as the Holy month of Ramadan and Muharram, the programs were entirely hosted at a few believers’ home due to the lack of an official centre. By the grace of God and all the donations accumulated over the years, Al-Hoda was able to purchase a permanent location to provide essential religious services to community members.
Since then, we have achieved numerous milestones, among them are:
– Establishing al-Hoda Academy for children
– Building a new hall to accommodate the needs of the community
– Conducting sports and social gatherings and activities
– Events and programs catered towards the Youth
– Commemorating numerous religious events
– Purchasing a cemetery for Muslims
– Over 75 active & contributing members
– And many more!
We implore and beseech Allah to continue our success in this holy journey and to continue honouring us in serving the Holy Household of Aal Muhammad.

جمعية الهدى الإسلامية
:من نحن
تأسست جمعية الهدى الإسلامية رسميًا في عام 1997 في إدمنتون، وهي مؤسسة إسلامية إمامية أثني عشرية تتبع المذهب الجعفري تسعى إلى توفير الأجواء لإجتماع المؤمنين لإحياء شعائر أهل البيت عليهم السلام وجميع المناسبات الدينية والثقافية لإبناء الجالية في إدمنتون.
منذ تأسيس الجمعية، تبنت على عاتقها جميع الفعاليات الدينية على مدار السنة من أهمها شهر رمضان المبارك ومحرم الحرام ، وتم استضافة المشاركين بالبرامج الدينية من رجال الدين والحضور والعاملين في منازل بعض المؤمنين بسبب عدم وجود مركز رسمي.
ولكن بفضل الله وبفضل المتبرعين جزاهم الله خيرا على مر السنين تمكنت جمعية الهدى من شراء موقع دائم لإحياء المناسبات الدينية الأساسية لأفراد الجالية. منذ ذلك الحين، حققنا العديد من الإنجازات ، من بينها:
– إنشاء أكاديمية الهدى للأطفال
– بناء صالة جديدة تتناسب مع احتياجات الجالية
– إقامة نشاطات رياضية وإجتماعية متعددة
– برامج خاصة للشباب
– إحياء العديد من المناسبات الدينية
– شراء مقبرة للمسلمين
– أكثر من 75 عضوًا نشطًا ومساهمًا وكثير من الإنجازات الأخرى
